The challenge
Median, a cosmetics retail company, was struggling to fully manage its operations due to limitations in the Tiny ERP system. While efficient for many aspects of retail, the system fell short on several of Median's critical needs, hurting efficiency and the experience of its internal users. The main challenges included: Commission Calculation — the system ignored discounts applied by sales reps, producing incorrect commission figures and undermining transparency and trust. Discount Management — with no way to link multiple discount tables to different customers, it was hard to see updated, personalized pricing. Usability — operational processes like data entry were slow due to the lack of shortcuts and features optimized for repetitive tasks. These limitations led to operational inefficiencies, usability problems, and a negative impact on sales management — reinforcing the need for a custom solution.
The solution
Supabase + FlutterFlow Integration. To overcome Median's challenges, we built a robust, flexible solution that sits between Tiny ERP and the company's operations. The custom system was developed with Supabase and FlutterFlow, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and a friendly interface. Smart Commission Calculation — we implemented a calculation engine that accounts for discounts applied by sales reps, guaranteeing commissions are computed correctly and fairly for everyone involved. Advanced Discount Management — we created a feature that links multiple discount tables to different customer profiles, making updated pricing practical and accessible and streamlining negotiations and sales. Usability Improvements — we introduced shortcuts and refinements to the data-entry flow, cutting time spent on operational tasks and improving the user experience. With this custom integration, Median now has a system tailored to its specific needs, free of Tiny ERP's limitations and running a faster, more efficient operation.
